Science Data Centers

As part of the state digitisation strategy digital@bw the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Science is funding the establishment of four high-performance research data centers – Science Data Centers - with a total of 8 million euros since summer 2019.
The Science Data Centers will develop and make available need-based workflows, analysis tools and service portfolios. In this way, the FAIR principles are to be implemented in a way that is beneficial to the funded disciplines.
Since May 2019, the Baden-Württemberg support and further development project for research data management (bw2FDM) has been supporting the Science Data Centers in common concerns.
